Hogan Grape - Zone 4 - Flavourful and productive blue grape

Sorry, unavailable for Fall 2020- Spring 2021 orders. Hogan is a blue grape, extremely productive and very tasty. Its taste is similar to the blue Ontarian Grape we buy at grocery stores.

Early ripening variety: end of august. Was found here in Sainte-Julienne, on the old abandonned farm of Mr. Hogan, a salesman who collected plants he discovered while traveling around the country. This grape was named in honour of him!

The are few seeds in each grape, which some people might not like when eating fresh. But admittedly it prolongs the enjoyment by forcing one to eat them more slowly.

The sugar content can vary from a year to another, from middle to fairly sweet. It is a slip skin grape.

One grape vine Hogan will produce more than 8kg of fruit.
