This willow species originates from northeastern Japan and China. It typically grows to between 2 and 6 metres in height, and would be a good choice for adding some beauty to a small garden where space is lacking. Like most willows, it is happy to grow in wet soil, and would work well planted by the side of a river or a pond, or anywhere you would like to stabalize a bank and add beauty at the same time.
