For all those that adore the taste of freshly harvested plums, or for all those who have never had the chance to to taste something better than grocery plums - harvested too early before they have time to fully develop their flavour and sweetness - we have a set of three plum trees for you.

This set will occupy approximately 400 square feet on your land, and it is hardy in zone 4. Each plum tree is different, and will give you the chance to taste three different types of plum!

Plum variety 1 and 2: A unique variety, seedling from our orchard. This plum tree is born of a seed of one of the plum trees in our orchard, and each tree is different as they are not grafted. It is impossible for us to predict the colour of the fruit - it could be yellow, red, pink or maybe even blue! The fruit is a surprise, born of our best hardy varieties!

Plum variety 3: Canada Plum. This is the pollinator plum tree which will enable the two others to produce fruit. It will also produce small, sweet red plums of its own!

We plant plum trees at around 12 feet from each other. It is possible to plant them closer, but the fruit will be somewhat less easy to harvest, and a little less productive.
